Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter Silk, a scholar and Peter Silk, a well-known actor, director as well as a playwright, producer, educator and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching at work and attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials while she was young. As of 1997, the actress was awarded an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theater work in her early years included at least two plays with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk has moved from Toronto in November 1999 and moved to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at the workshop for actors located in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009 before getting married in an unofficial ceremony in was held in December. When she converted to Judaism the couple took their vows to each other again at a Jewish ceremony on the 10th April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second daughter was born on the 13th of May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk is well-known for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by the Gemini Awards. The year 2009 saw her hired as the lead character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk's portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and voted the most popular Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. As a result of the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent internet following via social media.
